The Focas Institute is based on Camden Row near the DIT Kevin Street Campus. It is ideally located in the centre of Dublin City near St Stephen's Green. It is easily accessible by all modes of transport and within walking distance of visitor attractions such as the Temple Bar area, St Patrick's Cathedral, ChristChurch, Trinity College and Dublin Castle. There are numerous hotels and guesthouses nearby.
Arriving By Air:
From Dublin Airport on the North of the City, take the Aircoach Service to the front of Trinity College (College Green). From there on foot through Grafton Street, Cuffe St to Kevin St and Camden St.
Alternatively, the Dublin Bus number 16A runs from the Airport to Camden Street, albeit by a roundabout route.
Arriving By Taxi:
Ask for DIT Kevin St at the South end of Georges St or at Camden St
Arriving By Road:
The Kevin St site itself has strictly limited parking and metered parking operates on all streets surrounding the campus. Major car parks nearby are marked on the map
Arriving By Luas : Green line to Stephens Green's stop, Walk towards Cuffe Street. Turn right and continue to Kevin Street, take the next left at the junction (Shine Pub) to Camden Street. Take the next right up Camden Row (Ryan's Pub) Focas is the 3rd building on the left.
